  • Constipation or diarrhea.

  • Rupture of the appendix, which can lead to peritonitis.

  • Intestinal obstruction.

  • Abdominal abscess and the spread of pus. 

What is the treatment for appendicitis?

The appendix is removed laparoscopically, and the child can go home after two or three days.
